Two-Factor Authentication addition (2FA)
The site supports two factor authentication as an added security measure to protect against unauthorized access to your data.
- Upon logging in by using your username and password a security code will be required to gain access to your data.
- By default, the access code will be sent to your registered email (be it your username).
- Once the code is entered, access to the portal will be authorized.
- If you wish to use Smart phones SMS to receive security code, a mobile phone must be registered in your profile. Please see Profile Management section.
2FA feature adds an added layer of security to insure only an owner of an account gain access to private data.
Account Lockout
Account will be locked after 5 unsuccessful log-in attempts. This will prevent robotic attempts to break into your account by trial and error.
Account users have the ability to unlock their accounts by pressing forgotten password.
A 2FA code will be sent to your device of choice (email-by default; phone if registered in account). Once the code is entered, you will be able to change password and restart your login attempt
Profile Management
A profile Manager was added to your account.
You can manage several items in your profile including the addition of a phone number or adding users to your account.
